For about a month after your procedure, it is highly recommended that you avoid swimming, saunas or steam rooms while you head heals. The chemicals and temperature imbalances can have detrimental effects on the healing and longevity of your hair. Plus, in the same time frame, try to avoid being exposed out in the sun as much as possible. Along with the radiating heat, the sun’s rays can lead to improper healing and would affect the lasting results of treatment. Lastly, it is recommended to avoid heavy exercise for about a week after treatment. By exercising, sweat from the scalp and excessive body heat can tamper with the healing process, which may ultimately lead to the results wearing off quicker than normal.
